South to Santa Cruz

My wife and I were able to rent a Harley Electra Glide on Sept 29, 2006 for the day. We got an excellent route suggestion going South to Santa Cruz. Stopped at Alice's restaurant and had a late breakfast. Also went throught the Big Basin Redwood forest. Spent some time in Santa Cruz seeing the sites and came back up highway 1, which is a great road with awesome views.
Staff was very helpful and the bike was great! Thanks for the great experience!!Looking forward to my next trip to San Francisco so I can rent another bike and go North!!
