During our round trip we will ride over the famous Golden Gate Bridge, we will marvel at majestic Redwood Trees, explore the beautiful shoreline and all of this will be ridden on the most spectacular back roads N. California has to offer. One of the many highlights on this trip is Mount Shasta close to the Oregon border. Physically unconnected to any nearby mountain, and rising abruptly from miles of level ground, Mount Shasta stands some 10,000 feet (3,000 m) above the surrounding area.
One of the other highlights in the Cascade Mountains is Lassen Volcanic National Park. This is one of the few areas in the world where all four types of volcano can be found.
After passing trough this still active volcanic area we will ride through the beautifully restored old Gold Rush town of Nevada City and continue to Napa and Sonoma Valley, known worldwide as a premium wine growing region with over 400 wineries. Our last night will be a night of rejuvenation at a Napa Valley Wine Country Spa! There is also time to taste some wine and tour one of the famous wineries before we will celebrate our last evening in a Motorcycle Museum like Restaurant in down town San Francisco.
